In recent years, the Information Technology world has witnessed the rapid growth of free and open source software (FOSS). FOSS solutions are built by worldwide communities of professional developers and are often available free of charge. FOSS products have been evolving and improving very quickly in the past few years, and now represent some of the most stable, technically advanced, easy to use, secure, and feature-rich solutions available to the IT industry.
Our speaker, Brett Hoff of Open Source Technologies, will discuss security tools from the open source community, emphasizing the key decision points and issues facing IT professionals tasked with securing and maintaining critical computing resources. Topics covered will include:

The meeting starts at 11:30am and ends at 1:00pm. The cost for lunch is $12 per person. Cold box lunches will be provided. The fee to attend without lunch is $5 per person.
