PENSACOLA, FL – ITGulfCoast, an Information Technology Association for the Gulf Coast, will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at PJC Downtown. John R. With the stress on businesses today, finding ways to save on communications costs is a major concern. Everyone is trying to conserve cash and keep lines of credit available for opportunities. Are there solutions that can save operating costs today and meet the long-range needs for the organization?
SIP (Sessions Initiated Protocol) is the open standard used for voice, data and video that has simplified the complex coding once required to make the integration of these technologies possible.
It's a multiprotocol world, and that's a good thing. Thankfully careful protocol design can enable existing business processes for deployment of next generation practices and technologies. Because connecting users with the right technology is the purpose of Unified Communication technologies in the first place.
