      More Details

Students from within Florida's Great Northwest sixteen county area will be selected for the first class.. They will complete the degree in December 2009 by taking two courses during five 8-week terms which includes a project/internship during the fifth 8-week term. This format places a full-time educational load on students during the 8-week terms so even though all courses are online it is expected that employers, in partnership with UWF, will provide 20 hours of work release time per week. This is intended to provide sufficient time for students to study, interact with their faculty and classmates online, and engage in assignments during the 8-week terms.
Applicants have the opportunity to receive a full scholarship if they are selected into the program. The scholarship will cover UWF tuition, books and the use of a laptop configured with software.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply ASAP. UWF will refund your application processing fee if the grant is not awarded.  However, you MUST begin the process of securing transcripts from other institutions and obtaining a letter of support from your employer by February 5th.
Applicants can apply online at http://uwf.edu/admissions/gap.cfm
