      SQL Saturday! Pensacola 2009 is sponsored by the Pensacola SQL Server Users Group and will be held on Saturday June 9th at PJC Main Campus.  SQL Saturdays are one day learning events for SQL Server professionals, loosely patterned on the well-known Code Camp model.

      IHMC at Gulf Coast Technology Council Meeting - Mobile

      The Gulf Coast Technology Council, sponsored by the Mobile Chamber of Commerce is holding their regular bi-monthly meeting on Tuesday June 17th at  Mentor Graphics. Guest speakers are Julie Sheppard and Sharon Heise, who will be discussing research projects for the Institute for Human and Machine Cognition in Pensacola.

      As a follow-on to the Iphone application presentation at our July meeting, Charles Armour will conduct a free hands-on workshop in an evening session on August 5 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Pizza provided.

LaBorde, attorney and legal technology consultant with the consulting group, Law Office Technology (www.lawot.com) will be the presenter at the monthly ITGulfcoast meeting on September 23, 2009. Area IT professionals are encouraged to participate in this lunch & learn format. The presentation will focus on the use of technology in the legal industry and in the modern law office.

      ITGulfCoast held a joint networking social on December 10th at 600 South in lieu of a regular monthly meeting.  This event is held in conjunction with iTen Wired and the Pensacola's High Growth Business Club. 600 South did a great job with the food and the ambient environment.
