About IT Gulf Coast

The Information Technology Association of the Gulf Coast, Inc. (IT Gulf Coast), established in 2008 is a Pensacola based, 501c6 non-profit organization for students, educators, IT professionals and corporate members of our community. Our business memberships range from government, non-profits, for-profit private & public companies. They also range from a single owner/operator to multi-billion dollar conglomerates.

Our mission is to promote business and technology within our community, provide social and networking opportunities, produce educational content that specifically aids our member base, as well as assists in fundamentally changing how we inspire the youth of our community, to the possibilities of a career in technology.  Our partnership with corporations inspires them to not only expand here, but to be actively involved in developing programs in our communities that benefit all age groups and backgrounds.

IT Gulf Coast is a volunteer staffed organization; All of the membership dues and sponsorship funds collected,  are used for the furtherance of our mission.

Although our goals are to be inspiring from Corpus Christ, TX to Fort Myers, FL, our current membership is primarily located in counties in Northwest Florida (Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, & Walton), as well as in southern Alabama (Mobile and Baldwin). Recent events have broadened the meaning of community to encompass a wider geographically dispersed area; common interests is becoming relatively more important while physical location is less important in defining our community.

Our goal is continue to expand and create additional chapters all across the United States, beginning in Florida!
