Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the IT Gulf Coast website and member portal (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. IT Gulf Coast reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
2. Membership
ITGC membership is available to technology professionals, students, government employees, military personnel, contractors, and corporate entities meeting the eligibility criteria for each membership tier. Membership fees, where applicable, are non-refundable except as required by law. ITGC reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership for violations of these terms or conduct deemed detrimental to the community.
3. Member Portal and Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify ITGC immediately at contact@itgulfcoast.org of any unauthorized use of your account. ITGC is not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account. You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access your member account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) transmit spam, harassing, or harmful content; (c) impersonate any person or organization; (d) attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems; (e) scrape, harvest, or collect member data without authorization; or (f) engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits others' use or enjoyment of the Service.
5. Member Directory
The member directory is available exclusively to active ITGC members. Directory information may only be used for professional networking purposes related to ITGC activities. Bulk harvesting, commercial solicitation, or any use of directory data inconsistent with ITGC's community mission is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate membership termination.
6. Events and Registration
Event registrations are subject to availability. ITGC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events. For paid events, refund policies will be communicated at the time of registration. Members agree to conduct themselves professionally at all ITGC events and abide by any event-specific codes of conduct.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the ITGC website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of IT Gulf Coast or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission from ITGC.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. ITGC does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. ITGC makes no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content on the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ITGC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if ITGC has been advised of the possibility of such damages. ITGC's total liability shall not exceed the membership fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Escambia County, Florida.
